FAQ about our Wiki Render(sm) Solutions

Question:
What does Wiki Render(ing) mean?

Answer:
A wiki is a collection of web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content, using a simplified markup language. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. The collaborative encyclopedia, Wikipedia, is one of the best-known wikis.

Conversely, the term "Wiki" in "Wiki Rendersm Solutions" was a term coined back in early 2007 by Jason P. Silvestri, (a PLM  Software, Microsoft .NET Framework Developer with Life Cycle Solutions, Inc. at the time), after reading an article on Ward Cunningham, (developer of the first wiki software, WikiWikiWeb). Jason, used the term "wiki rendering"  to explain the fast acting data rendering process the next generation of Internet Web graphic and interface designing tools claim to offer.

It has been suggested that "wiki" means "What I Know Is". However, the PLM Micro Solutions use the term in collaboration with the Hawaiian word for "fast", as did Ward Cunningham.
